Rowans Hospice

RJD assists The Rowans Hospice in protecting those in their care by improving their resilience to Cyber Attack.

Established in 1994, the Hospice is a Hampshire based charity dedicated to improving the lives of people with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses. They support more than 1,000 patients and families across Portsmouth and South East Hampshire every year providing a range of care services free from discrimination and free of charge.

The care, wellbeing and confidentiality of the1000s of patients, workers and volunteers lies at the centre of Rowans’ ethos and values. Their continued success relies on income from their high street and on line shops, personal donations and fund raising events all of which rely on a secure, available and well monitored IT enterprise.

So earlier this month, they were delighted to commission RJD Technology Ltd to assist them in ensuring these vital capabilities were sensibly protected against any computer attack or data compromise.

“This exercise has allowed us to further strengthen our system in ways that other analyses have not” said Rowans’ IT Manager Dave Little “and RJD’s ability to monitor our whole enterprise in real time gives us real peace of mind as our user requirements grow.”

The CyCURE® solution that RJD is using has been developed over the past 4 years and is already in use with a number Government Departments.
